These Terms govern access to and use of the RGATT platform. By creating an account, you accept them in full.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the RGATT platform, a provenance and traceability registry for fine watches. Creating an account constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
They cover free use of the platform. Paid orders (registrations beyond the free allowance, subscriptions) are additionally governed by the Terms of Sale, which set out prices, payment, the right of withdrawal and cancellation. Where the two conflict on a paid order, the Terms of Sale prevail.
The platform is operated by RGATT, société par actions simplifiée, 107 414 757 R.C.S. Paris, registered office 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France. RGATT acts as a technical intermediary and registry host. It provides watch registration, a provenance record written to a public blockchain, and peer-to-peer ownership transfers between members. RGATT is not a marketplace: it does not list watches for sale and is not a party to any sale a user may agree with a third party outside the platform.
Users must be adults or duly represented legal entities. Users warrant the accuracy of the information provided and keep their credentials confidential. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

Users remain responsible for the content they publish (photos, descriptions, status reports). RGATT may remove or flag any content that breaches these Terms or the law. Anyone may report content they consider illegal through our reporting form; we acknowledge every report and inform the reporter of the outcome, in line with the Digital Services Act.
Eligible watches undergo a registration step and are recorded in RGATT's provenance registry (tamper-proof history of events). Registration concerns the authenticity of the piece; it is a best-efforts obligation and guarantees neither the general condition of the watch, nor its value, nor the validity of the title of whoever holds it.
A member may transfer a registered watch to another member by wallet address or unique handle. Transfers are free, on every plan. Ownership moves as soon as the transfer is sent; the recipient does not have to accept it. RGATT does not hold, escrow, or move any funds relating to a private arrangement the parties may have between themselves. Stolen or lost watches are blocked from transfer. A recipient who was not expecting a watch may dispute the receipt from their transfers page: the piece is frozen immediately, blocked from any onward transfer, and reviewed by RGATT.
An owner may report a registered watch as stolen or lost. Watches reported stolen appear in a public registry, identified by serial number and never by the identity of any person, and are blocked from transfer.
A report is a declaration made on the reporter's own responsibility. Knowingly filing a false report causes serious harm to whoever holds the watch and may engage the reporter's civil and criminal liability. RGATT records who filed each report and when.
Right to challenge. Any person who considers that a report concerning a watch in their possession is unfounded may challenge it free of charge, whether or not they hold an RGATT account, through the challenge form or by writing to legal@rgatt.com. The procedure and its technical limits are set out in article 11 of the Terms of Sale.
RGATT uses reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, RGATT's liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by the user to RGATT in the preceding 12 months. This limitation does not apply to users acting as consumers, whose statutory rights remain unaffected, nor in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or personal injury.
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
These Terms apply throughout use of the service. Users may close their account at any time, subject to the completion of any pending transfer. RGATT may suspend or terminate an account in the event of breach. RGATT may update these Terms; the applicable version is the one in force at the time of use, with users informed of material changes.
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts are those of the publisher's registered seat, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers, who may also use consumer mediation (see legal notice). A consumer keeps, in every case, the benefit of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of the member state in which they are habitually resident.
These Terms are published in French and in English. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails. Lire en français.
